The design
DUNE is a map of a landscape that does not exist. Contour lines flow down from the camera the way wind lays ripples across sand, each line a single step in height, each case drawn from the same fixed field so it can be made again exactly.
Materials
Printed in powder-bed TPU, a firm, slightly yielding material that needs no supports, then bead-blasted, coloured and lined in microfibre by hand. More on materials

Care
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Keep away from solvents and prolonged direct heat. Let it dry fully before fitting it back on the phone.

The design
Wind-shaped sand, mapped as contour lines.
DUNE is a map of a landscape that does not exist. Contour lines flow down from the camera the way wind lays ripples across sand, each line a single step in height, each case drawn from the same fixed field so it can be made again exactly.
Halfway down, the lines meet the halo and wrap around it like terrain around a hill. The camera wears a continuous lip whose edge is the first contour of the map.

A gentle slope. Contours 4.0 mm apart, 0.4 mm deep.
Signature
The house map. Contours 3.0 mm apart, 0.6 mm deep.
Bold
Steep ground, with a wider index line every fourth contour. 2.4 mm apart, 0.8 mm deep.

You compose it
Choose the colourway, the depth of the pattern and, if you like, a monogram of up to three characters. What you see in three dimensions is the file we print.
We print it, once
Your case is printed for you alone in powder-bed TPU, a process that needs no supports and leaves an even, satin surface. Nothing is made in advance.
We finish it by hand
Each case is bead-blasted, coloured, lined in microfibre and checked for fit before it leaves the atelier, five to seven days after you order.
