The Atelier
Every Cassien case begins as a file and ends in a hand.

A Cassien case is designed the way a house designs a bag or a shoe: as an object you will hold every day, for years. It is drawn once, in millimetres, and made only when someone asks for it.
One. The drawing
Each design starts from the published drawings of a single phone: its outline, the radius of its corners, the exact position of every button, lens and port. The case is built around those numbers with a tenth of a millimetre to spare on each side, so it closes around the phone without strain and without play.
The pattern is drawn separately, as flat artwork, and carved into the back between 0.4 and 0.8 mm deep. It always stops short of the edges and the openings, so the wall that protects the phone is never thinner than 1.6 mm.
Two. The print
When you place an order, your configuration becomes a print file: the colour, the depth of the pattern, your monogram, the details you chose. Nothing is pulled from a shelf.
We print in powder-bed TPU. A laser or a fusing agent joins fine thermoplastic powder layer by layer, and the loose powder around the part holds it in place as it grows. Because nothing needs supporting, the camera surround, the lips and the relief all come out crisp, with no scars to sand away.
We do not hide that it is printed. Printing is what lets us make one case, for one person, exactly as they drew it.
Three. The finish
Each case is bead-blasted to a soft, even satin, then dyed to its colourway. A microfibre lining is applied by hand inside the back, and, if you chose it, a magnet ring is set into its pocket beneath the lining.
Four. The check
Before it leaves us, every case is fitted, its buttons pressed, its openings checked against the phone, its monogram read under a low light. If anything is not right, we make it again.
Made in India
Every Cassien case is designed, printed and finished in India, and leaves the atelier five to seven days after you order. Shipping is complimentary across the country.
